Happy New Year!

I hope are feeling all fired-up and excited about this year ahead!

How different is your life from this time last year? If the answer is: “Not much!” then you need to start DREAMING and GOAL SETTING, my lovely!

But before you set any New Year’s resolutions, I want to walk you through the practice I’ve carried out the past five years that has yielded huge positive changes in my life so you can have an incredible 2015.

A few years back, the worst time of the day for me was just before bed when I used to remind yourself that I was no closer to my dream life than I was yesterday or the months or years previous. My life now is unrecognisable from a few years ago. This is due to gaining CLARITY, CONNECTION and CONFIDENCE. That’s why those 3 words are my “tagline” so-to-speak on my logo. Along with the mindset work to release my Self-bully and limiting beliefs, I did this through dreaming BIG and setting goals.

This is a perfect time to start dreaming and setting intentions and goals for the brand new year.

I'm a dream chaser and a dream catcher. You can't be the second without the first.

Please don’t make the mistake of believing ‘dreams’ are for people living in “Lala Land”.

We all need to dream and dream BIG. Otherwise we will stagnate. It is human nature to dream; just watch children - they are experts at it. The reason people give up dreaming is because they fear their dream won't come true!

If dreaming were futile then I wouldn’t have:

  •  The gorgeous home I “dreamed” about
  • The Audi TT I “dreamed” about
  • The business I “dreamed” about
  • The romantic relationship I “dreamed” about
  • The business trip to Paris like I “dreamed” about
  • Recovered from ME/CFS like I ‘dreamed’ about

I could go on and on...

Let me assure you: spending time dreaming is not the waste of time some would have you believe.

Dreams DO come true. You just have to know what your "work" is.

It has been my own personal experience, and that of my clients, that the “work” involved is: getting CLARITY on our deepest desires; RELEASING any limiting beliefs that stand in our way; then creating actionable steps a.k.a. GOALS.

So, let me ask you these essential questions:

• What do you want? • What does your dream life look like? • What would you love to be spending your time doing?

Most people know what they DON’T want but very few know what they DO want.

::STEP ONE ~ AWARENESS

Let’s start with where you are right now.

Look at each area of you life:

  1. Health
  2. Fitness
  3. Rest & Relaxation
  4. Friends
  5. Social Life
  6. Business
  7. Family
  8. Love/Romance
  9. Hobbies
  10. Home
  11. Body Image
  12. Self-Confidence

In turn give yourself a score according to how satisfied you are at that moment with that part of your life.

The scale runs from 1 (very dissatisfied) to 10 (very satisfied).

This will give you an overview of how you feel about your life. Which area needs the most focus? Which area is going well and why is that?

::STEP TWO ~ CLARITY

As the saying goes: You gotta have a dream. If you don't have a dream, how you gonna make a dream come true?

Once you have taken the time to really look at your life as it stands, you needs to look at each area and write down what would make that a 10.

• What is your dream life?

• What would your life be like if everything was “working out beautifully”?

Dream BIG, really BIG.

I love this quote: "Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star." W. Clement Stone

(Okay, so not scientifically correct {that's the school teacher in me ;)} but we’ll forgive him for that!)

The point is – if you aim high there's no limit to what you can do, and even if you don't succeed, you'll go farther than you expected.

::STEP THREE ~ CORE FEELINGS

How do you want to FEEL? Ultimately, the only reason we ever want anything in life is because we believe it will make us FEEL better. But what does 'better' mean? We need to be really clear on what we want our life to be like and how we want to feel. • How would you be feeling if your dreams came true?

• What are you core feeling?

{I will explain more about this step in my next post.}

::STEP FOUR~ GOALS

Where dreams meet goals: A goal is a dream with a deadline” Napoleon Hill

NOW you can form your goals. Most people start on this fourth step; they are missing the crucial three previous steps. Hopefully you can see the importance of ensuring you have carried out the other three steps first! Otherwise you could be going after a goal that isn’t in alignment with your dream life. I see this all the time. People can spend years working towards a goal that they don't even truly desire! Don't waste one more minute of your precious life doing that!

Take each area of your life and the CORE FEELING you wish to create. Next, brainstorm as many ways as you can to make this a reality.

  • What needs to happen?
  • What changes do you need to make?
  • Who can help you?
  • What can you do TODAY to take you closer to your dream?

** Important**

Write your goals down and put them somewhere you will see them daily

::STEP FIVE ~ SUPPORT

CLARITY + GOAL SETTING + ACTION = DREAMS BECOME REALITY

When we don't have CLARITY we get stuck in the same old place and routine.

  • We need to take the time to get CLARITY on our desires
  • We need to SET GOALSand regularly review them
  • We need to RELEASE limiting beliefs that hold us back so we take ACTION

Your life isn't going to miraculously change for the better unless you start taking steps towards your dream.

You don’t have to do this alone! I didn’t. I hired a coach to help me to make quantum leaps. I know the power of having a coach.

  • Let me hold the space for you to DREAM BIGGER than ever
  • Let me help you RELEASE the limiting beliefs that are holding you back
  • Let me hold you ACCOUNTABLE to taking ACTION steps.

I invite you to have a CLARITY CALL. This is a complimentary session to enable you to get the CLARITY required to make 2015 your best year yet! Message me here to book your spot>> May you never be the same again! Much love,

Emma xx
